Little Ormside is a small Cumbrian village in the Eden Valley, easily reached via the A66 trans-Pennine route and local roads from Junction 38 of the M6. The settlement sits between the Pennines and Lake District fells, with Appleby-in-Westmorland 7km away providing main services. The 12th-century church of St. James features a rare Norman tympanum with carved figures above its south doorway.
