Linchmere is a Surrey Hills village on the Hampshire border, reached via the A287 from the A3 at Hindhead. Most visitors arrive from London (80km via A3) or make short local trips to Haslemere for trains and shops. The surrounding heathland enjoys a mild climate with cooler upland conditions, and EV charging is available at roughly 50 points around Haslemere. The village sits at the source of the River Wey, where several streams meet to begin the river's journey to the Thames.
