Lime Kiln is a small settlement near Stranraer in Dumfries and Galloway, reached via the A77 and local roads through Galloway farmland. The area serves ferry traffic heading to Northern Ireland, with about six fast EV chargers nearby. The village gets its name from the old limestone kilns that once produced lime for local agriculture and building work.
