Liddel is a small settlement on South Ronaldsay, reached via the A961 and Churchill Barriers from mainland Scotland. Most visitors drive the A99 to Gills Bay, then ferry to Burwick before continuing north. The village sits near the Pentland Firth with views to Duncansby Head's towering sea stacks.
