Lewtrenchard is a small Devon village just off the A30, positioned between Okehampton and Launceston. The A30 provides easy access for longer journeys, whilst local roads connect to nearby Lewdown and Tavistock. Set in typical Devon countryside with rolling fields and hedgerows, the village is known for Lewtrenchard Manor, where Victorian clergyman Sabine Baring-Gould penned "Onward, Christian Soldiers."
