Lennel is a small Borders settlement near Coldstream, positioned strategically by the River Tweed close to the English border. Reach it via the A698 through Coldstream, with the A68 from Edinburgh or A1 from the south providing main access routes. The village sits amid countryside that witnessed the catastrophic Battle of Flodden in 1513, where James IV and much of Scotland's nobility perished.
