Lenborough is a small Buckinghamshire settlement reached via the A413 from Buckingham or minor roads from surrounding villages like Gawcott and Padbury. The area sits in typical Vale of Aylesbury countryside with gentle hills and hedgerows. In 2014, metal detectorists here discovered one of Britain's largest Anglo-Saxon silver coin hoards, containing over 5,000 pieces from around 1000 AD.
