Ledston Luck lies in West Yorkshire's former coalfield between Leeds and Castleford, accessible via the A656 which connects north to Leeds city centre (8 miles) and south to the M62. Local routes serve nearby Kippax and Garforth, whilst longer journeys use the A1(M) via Leeds or the M1 through Micklefield. The area boasts approximately 200 public EV charging points. The village takes its distinctive name from the historic Ledston Hall estate, home to a remarkable 17th-century dovecote containing over 1,000 nesting holes.
