Ledbeg is a tiny Highland settlement on the A835 in Sutherland, sitting beneath the imposing Ben More Assynt. It's a key waypoint where the A835 meets the A837 near Ledmore, making it familiar to anyone touring the northwest Highlands. Most visitors arrive via the A835 from either Inverness (80km) or Ullapool (50km), both spectacular drives through increasingly remote country. The village serves walkers tackling Ben More Assynt, which looms 998 metres directly overhead.
