Layton forms part of greater Blackpool, sitting just inland from the famous seaside resort on Lancashire's Fylde coast. Access is primarily via the A583 from M55 Junction 4, with local routes connecting to Blackpool centre and surrounding areas like Normoss and Great Marton. The area has approximately 50 public EV charging points nearby. One of the few remaining traditional Lancashire mill chimneys still stands here, visible across the flat coastal plain.
