Lattin sits on the N24 in County Tipperary's Golden Vale, where the fertile pastureland stretches for miles. The village is easily reached from Dublin via the M7 and N24, about 12 kilometres west of Tipperary town and 35 kilometres east of Limerick. Cork drivers can get there in roughly 80 kilometres using the N20 and connecting roads. Electric vehicle charging points are scattered around Tipperary town and along the N24 corridor. The village is home to the Sean Treacy Memorial Swimming Pool, honouring the IRA leader born nearby in Soloheadbeg.
