Latheron is a small Highland village in Caithness, positioned along the A99 coastal route between Helmsdale and Wick. It's a regular stop on the North Coast 500 driving circuit, with the A99 providing the main access from both directions. The surrounding countryside features typical Caithness moorland and coastal scenery, with approximately one EV charging point available for electric vehicle drivers. The village houses the Clan Gunn Heritage Centre in a converted church.
