Lasswade lies 10 kilometres south of Edinburgh in Midlothian, easily reached via the A6094 from the A7. The A720 bypass provides quick motorway connections, whilst over 150 fast charging points serve electric vehicles in the area. The village's 16th-century castle ruins overlook the River North Esk.
