Largue lies in rural Aberdeenshire between Huntly and Turriff, reached via the B9001 from Huntly or B9170 from Turriff. The A97 provides the main north-south corridor about 5km west, whilst Aberdeen sits roughly 45 minutes southeast via the A96. Traditional stone cottages dot the farming landscape around this quiet settlement.
