Langwathby

England

England

Langwathby is a Cumbrian village on the A686, about 8km northeast of Penrith via Junction 40 of the M6. The A686 continues east toward Alston and the North Pennines, making it popular with long-distance travelers and locals from surrounding villages. Approximately 15 public EV chargers serve the area, with the main hub in Penrith. The village station on the Settle-Carlisle railway line still operates one of the route's few remaining traditional signal boxes.
