Langthwaite nestles in Swaledale's heart, reached via the scenic B6270 from Richmond. This Yorkshire Dales village, surrounded by characteristic stone walls and moorland, served as the fictional Darrowby in "All Creatures Great and Small." The famous red phone box remains a popular filming location.
