Langside forms part of Glasgow's south side, easily reached from the city center via the A77 Pollokshaws Road in under 10 minutes. The M77 provides connections for longer journeys, whilst the A726 serves daily commuters heading to neighboring areas like Queen's Park and Shawlands. The neighborhood is historically significant as the site of the 1568 Battle of Langside, where Mary Queen of Scots met her final defeat.
