Lamesley is a former mining village in Gateshead, just south of Newcastle upon Tyne. Reach it via the A1 to A692 through Low Fell, or from Newcastle city centre via the A167 and B1296 through Team Valley. The A194 connects to Sunderland whilst the A1 provides links to Edinburgh and London. With over 450 EV charging points nearby and Newcastle Airport 15km northeast, it's well-connected for modern travel. The original Victorian Methodist chapel on Front Street still serves the community today.
