Lambourn sits in the Berkshire Downs, famous for its racehorse training gallops carved into the chalk hills. Reach it via the A338 from Junction 14 of the M4, then the B4000 through Wantage, or locally from Newbury on the B4000. Over 30 licensed trainers work from the town, and you'll see strings of racehorses exercising on the ancient gallops at dawn each morning.
