Ladock is a small Cornish village on the A390 between Truro and St Austell, easily reached from the A30 trunk road. The area enjoys Cornwall's mild maritime climate with rolling countryside typical of mid-Cornwall. Local routes serve nearby villages like Grampound Road and Probus, whilst longer journeys connect via Truro or the A30. The village church contains an exceptional 15th-century rood screen, regarded as one of Cornwall's finest examples of medieval woodwork.
