Lacken is a small coastal village in County Clare along the wild Atlantic coast, connected by the R487 which links north to Kilkee and south to Doonbeg. Most visitors come via the N67 from Ennis, about 45 kilometers away, or from Kilrush to the north. The N67 is one of Clare's finest coastal drives, offering grand Atlantic views and access to the Cliffs of Moher further up the coast. There are about 14 EV charging stations in the area, making it handy for electric vehicle trips along the Wild Atlantic Way. The nearby Doonbeg Golf Course has dramatic clifftop holes designed by Greg Norman.
