Labasheeda

Ireland

Ireland

Labasheeda is a small County Clare village on the Shannon Estuary's southern shore, reached via the R483 from Limerick through the N69 coastal road, about 45 kilometers west. The route follows the estuary with grand views across to Kerry's hills. Those coming from Cork or Kerry can take the Tarbert ferry for a shorter crossing. Electric vehicle drivers will find around 10 fast chargers in the area. The village sits near Foynes, where flying boats once landed with transatlantic passengers in the 1930s and 1940s.
