Knotting is a small Bedfordshire village about 6km north of Bedford, reached via the A6 and country lanes. It sits in typical East Midlands farmland between Bedford and Rushden, with good access to the A14 corridor. The village retains its medieval strip field system, where ancient farming boundaries are still clearly visible in the surrounding countryside.
