Knocknagoshel sits along the N21 between Tralee and Limerick, making it a handy stop for drivers crossing Kerry. The town serves as a waypoint for journeys from Cork (two hours via N20/N21) or Dublin (three and a half hours via M7/M20/N21). Kerry Airport is about 30 kilometers southwest for those flying in. The area has around 13 EV charging stations along this busy corridor. Knocknagoshel holds particular significance for its role in the 1923 Civil War incidents, which are still commemorated locally and form an important part of the town's identity.
