Knock sits seven kilometres northwest of Ennis along the N85, a handy spot for exploring central Clare's rolling countryside. The N85 connects you straight to Ennis and onwards to Ennistymon and the coast, while Shannon Airport is just 19 kilometres southeast through Newmarket-on-Fergus. From Dublin, take the M6 to Athlone, then N62 and N85 via Ennis. Cork visitors go north on the N20 through Limerick, then N18 toward Ennis before the N85. You'll find over 40 fast charging stations around Ennis and the Shannon corridor, and the village sits right on the Clare-Galway border where the countryside starts shifting toward the limestone country of the Burren.
