Knelston is a small Gower Peninsula village about 15km southwest of Swansea, reached via the A4118 through Reynoldston. Most visitors are day-trippers from Swansea and the valleys heading to nearby beaches like Port Eynon. The village sits amid typical Gower countryside with its mild maritime climate. Its 13th-century church contains a rare surviving medieval rood screen.
