Kitwood lies in Hampshire countryside between Alton and Winchester, just off the A31 corridor linking Portsmouth with London. Most visitors use the A31 from either the M3 near Winchester or the A3 at Petersfield, whilst locals rely on B-roads to Four Marks and Medstead. The village sits within sight of Lasham Airfield, Britain's premier gliding centre where sailplanes circle silently overhead.
