Kirkinner is a small Dumfries and Galloway village on the A714 between Newton Stewart and Wigtown. Reached via the M74 and A75 from central Scotland, it's popular with tourists exploring Galloway's book towns and coastal areas. The 12th-century church houses remarkable early Christian carved stones, including rare Pictish symbols predating the building.
