Kirkby Fleetham is a North Yorkshire village between the Dales and North York Moors, reached via Junction 51 of the A1(M) at Leeming Bar. Local routes connect through Great Fencote and the surrounding farming communities, whilst the A684 provides access from Bedale. The 12th-century St. Mary's Church houses a rare medieval brass of an armoured knight.
