Kingsteps is a small coastal village near Nairn on the Moray Firth, easily reached via the A96 from Inverness (25km) or Aberdeen. The area enjoys Scotland's mildest climate thanks to the warming sea current. Electric vehicle charging is available in nearby Nairn, with Inverness Airport 30km west. Traditional fishing bothies still dot the rocky shoreline.
