Kincraig sits on the A9 in the heart of the Cairngorms, roughly halfway between Edinburgh and Inverness. Most visitors pass through en route to the Highlands or stop whilst exploring Aviemore, just 8 miles northeast. The village serves as a gateway to Glen Feshie and the surrounding mountains, with local roads connecting to Kingussie and other Spey Valley settlements. It's home to the Highland Wildlife Park, where you can drive through enclosures containing the UK's only polar bears.
