Kilnave perches on Islay's northwest coast near Loch Gruinart, accessible via the A846 from either Port Askaig or Port Ellen ferry terminals. The route passes through Bridgend and takes about 30-45 minutes across the island's whisky-dotted landscape. The ruined 14th-century Kilnave Chapel overlooks the Atlantic with its weathered stone walls.
