Killeshin sits in County Laois just across the River Barrow from Carlow town, reached easily via the N80 from Dublin in about 90 minutes. Take the M9 south to Junction 3, then the R417 west before joining the N80. The area has over 30 EV charging stations around Carlow, plus family facilities like Graiguecullen Swimming Pool and Carlow Golf Club's 18-hole course overlooking the Barrow valley. The real draw is the 12th-century Killeshin Church ruins with their elaborately carved Romanesque doorway, one of Ireland's finest examples of Norman ecclesiastical stonework.
