Killeague lies in Northern Ireland's Causeway Coast and Glens, between Garvagh and Coleraine. The A29 provides the main route from Coleraine, whilst local roads connect to Aghadowey and Macosquin. Long-distance visitors typically use the M2 from Belfast or approach from Derry via the A37. Over 30 EV charging points serve the area, concentrated in nearby Coleraine. The name derives from "Coill Liag," meaning "wood of the standing stones."
