Kildysart sits along the Shannon Estuary in County Clare, about 15 kilometres southwest of Ennis via the N68. The town's historic quay features an old stone pier that once handled turf and agricultural cargo bound for Limerick, offering a glimpse into its trading past. The N69 from Limerick provides lovely water views, while the R473 coastal route from Kilrush makes for a grand alternative drive. Shannon Airport is easily reached through Ennis, and while local EV charging is limited, you'll find plenty of fast chargers around Limerick and Ennis.
