Kildonnan sits on the Isle of Eigg in the Inner Hebrides, reached by CalMac ferry from Mallaig after driving the A830 Road to the Isles. The crossing takes about 80 minutes, with several sailings weekly. Electric vehicle charging is available in Mallaig before boarding. The village overlooks Laig Bay's famous singing sands, where quartz crystals create musical sounds underfoot.
