Kilcormac is a quiet crossroads town in County Offaly, positioned along the R357 between Tullamore and Birr, about 15 kilometres from each. From Dublin, it's roughly 110 kilometres via the M4 to Kinnegad, then the R446 south through Tullamore. The town sits amid flat farming country typical of the midlands, with good connections to the N52 for longer journeys. Dooly's Hotel has been welcoming travellers since 1750, making it one of Ireland's oldest continuously operating establishments.
