Kentish Town lies in northwest London between Camden and Holloway, easily reached via the A400 Kentish Town Road from central London or the A1 from further north. The former Victorian working-class area retains much character whilst serving as a popular residential base. The distinctive railway bridge carrying the Midland Main Line creates a dramatic stone archway over Kentish Town Road.
