Kennacraig is the main ferry port for Islay and Jura on Kintyre's west coast. Take the A83 from Glasgow (140km) or up from Campbeltown (40km). The terminal has a unique waiting room built on stilts over the water, where you can watch the tide beneath whilst waiting for your ferry.
