Kemnay lies 25 kilometres northwest of Aberdeen in rural Aberdeenshire, easily reached via the A96 and B994. This former granite quarrying village now serves as a popular commuter town, with over 30 EV charging points reflecting its modern role. The historic quarry here supplied granite for London's Thames Embankment.
