Kelstedge is a small Derbyshire village perched in the Peak District's eastern hills, accessible via the A632 from Chesterfield or A61 from Sheffield. The B6014 connects it to neighbouring villages like Ashover and Slack. Long-distance visitors typically use M1 Junction 29, whilst locals make short trips between the cluster of settlements here.
