Kelloholm

Scotland

Scotland

Kelloholm is a small former mining village in Dumfries and Galloway, positioned along the A76 between Sanquhar and Kirkconnel in the Nith Valley. Most visitors arrive via the A76 from either Dumfries or Glasgow, whilst local routes connect through quieter B roads to surrounding hill communities. The village retains the character of Scotland's former coal mining heritage, with the old railway line still traceable as a footpath through the settlement.
