Keils lies on the Isle of Jura, reached by ferry from the mainland via Port Askaig on Islay. The island's single-track road connects this remote settlement to Craighouse, just 2km away, and the ferry terminal at Feolin. You'll need to drive to Kennacraig on Kintyre, then take two ferries to reach Jura. The island has no EV charging, so plan accordingly. Keils sits among Bronze Age cup-and-ring marked stones whose purpose remains a mystery.
