Keadue sits along the N61 in County Roscommon, about 30 kilometres north of Athlone and 140 kilometres from Dublin via the M6. The main road carries steady traffic between Roscommon and Boyle, with locals commuting to both towns for work. Electric vehicle drivers will find around a dozen fast chargers in the area. The town's claim to fame is The Shed Distillery nearby, one of Ireland's newer whiskey makers that's making waves with its fresh take on traditional distilling.
