Johnstown Bridge

Ireland

Ireland

Johnstown Bridge is a handy stop in County Kildare, 40 kilometers southwest of Dublin on the River Liffey. The M7 motorway runs right through at Junction 8, making it perfect for travelers heading west or visiting the K Club golf course nearby. The town sits on Ireland's main east-west corridor, with good connections to Naas and Newbridge via the N7 and R445. There are about 25 fast EV chargers in the area, which is grand for longer journeys. The town gets its name from the lovely 18th-century stone bridge with three arches that crosses the Liffey.
