Ironbridge

England

England

Ironbridge lies in a dramatic Severn gorge where the world's first iron bridge crosses the river. Most visitors arrive via M54 Junction 4, then follow the A4169 south through Telford (8km). The valley setting is spectacular, with wooded hills rising steeply from the water. Parking is limited in the narrow streets, and there are roughly 40 EV charging points in the wider area. The 1779 Iron Bridge still flexes slightly underfoot when you walk across it.
