Ireshopeburn is a small Weardale village in County Durham's North Pennines, reached via the scenic B6293 from Stanhope. The village sits where Burnhope Burn meets the River Wear, surrounded by typical Pennine moorland. With around 14 fast EV chargers nearby, it's well-equipped for modern visitors. The 12th-century church contains a remarkable Norman font carved from local sandstone.
