Inverkirkaig is a tiny Highland village 4km south of Lochinver on Sutherland's dramatic coast. Reach it via the A837 from Ullapool, a spectacular 45km drive through Glen Canisp on single-track roads. The village sits beneath Suilven mountain with the famous Falls of Kirkaig just upstream - an 18-metre cascade reached by a pleasant 3km woodland walk from the village centre.
