Inverfarigaig perches on Loch Ness's quieter eastern shore, reached via the scenic but narrow B852 from either Dores (15km south) or Fort Augustus (20km north). Most arrive through Inverness on the A82, then follow the single-track lochside road with its frequent passing places. About 4 fast EV chargers serve the area for those touring electrically. The village offers the finest view of Urquhart Castle across the water, minus the tourist coaches.
