Insh

Insh lies in Strathspey between the Cairngorms and Monadhliath Mountains, reached via the A9 then B970 near Kingussie. The village sits roughly 180km from Edinburgh and connects locally to Kincraig, Kingussie and Aviemore via single-track roads requiring careful use of passing places. About 14 fast EV chargers serve the wider Strathspey area. Insh Marshes Nature Reserve hosts over 200 whooper swans each winter.
